Ennis receives Zeta State scholarship
William Carey University student Emily Ennis was awarded a $500 Grant-in-Aid scholarship from Zeta State, which is one of the state organizations of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. Ennis is a junior elementary education major from Tylertown.
Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is a professional honorary society of key women educators: classroom teachers, college and university professors, administrators, supervisors, librarians and education specialists. The mission of the organization is to promote professional and personal growth of women educators of excellence in education.
One of the ways Mississippi seeks to fulfill that mission is through the Zeta State grant-in-aid scholarship. The Alpha Beta Chapter, which meets on the William Carey University campus, nominated Ennis. There are 36 chapters in Mississippi.
