The Center for Creative Scholars offers an exciting three-day experience of creative exploration every summer. This year students in grades 2-6 are invited to spend three days demonstrating their creative talents participating in STEM based activities with arts integration as well as reading with a mini book club!
We integrate writing as well, so that each learner will be a published author in his or her own anthology, produced during the camp.
This exciting event will be held July 13-15 on the Hattiesburg campus and June 28-30 on the Tradition campus from 9-3 each day. Our experienced staff, comprised of some of the finest teachers certified in Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana are looking forward to providing an exciting, enriching and differentiated experience for your child.
Students are eligible for nomination to the program by parents, teachers, peers or self by displaying strong characteristics of creative, academic, intellectual, artistic or leadership giftedness. Participation is limited to provide small group interaction and individualized instruction. Enrollment is based on a first come, first serve basis. Our programs are enhanced by diversity in our students as to talent, ethnicity, economic environment and emerging potential in various levels of development.
