Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements

In addition to the general admission requirements to the graduate school, each prospective student for the MHA program must:

  • Submit a completed application to William Carey University graduate school.
  • Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
  • Submit a statement of professional goals, 1-2 pages.
  • Submit a current resume.
  • Submit two letters of reference (the reference form will be emailed to the references entered in the online application).
  • Submit the completed and notarized criminal background check affidavit.
  • Have a clear criminal background check that meets program requirements.
  • Hold a baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, from a nationally accredited school
  • Have an overall undergraduate GPA > 2.75.
  • Be eligible to re-enter any previously attended college or university in good standing. If previously enrolled in a master's program, the applicant must provide a letter of good standing from the program.
