Healthcare Administration
The Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program prepares students to serve as effective change agents in today’s complex healthcare environment. Through a focused curriculum in leadership, healthcare policy, finance, and organizational management, students develop the skills needed to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. The program includes a practicum and a research-based capstone project, providing students with practical, applied learning opportunities.

Delivery Method
This program offers an online delivery method for didactic courses with face-to-face practicum experiences in healthcare agencies in their state of residency.
Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
In addition to the general admission requirements to the graduate school, each prospective student for the MHA program must:
- Submit a completed application to William Carey University graduate school.
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Submit a statement of professional goals, 1-2 pages.
- Submit a current resume.
- Submit two letters of reference (the reference form will be emailed to the references entered in the online application).
- Submit the completed and notarized criminal background check affidavit.
- Have a clear criminal background check that meets program requirements.
- Hold a baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, from a nationally accredited school
- Have an overall undergraduate GPA > 2.75.
- Be eligible to re-enter any previously attended college or university in good standing. If previously enrolled in a master's program, the applicant must provide a letter of good standing from the program.
