Health Professions
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Professions is designed to provide students with foundational healthcare knowledge and prepare them for entry into baccalaureate-required allied health professions that require a degree. Through a combination of university core coursework and advanced, program-specific courses, students build the academic foundation needed to meet admission requirements for a variety of allied health education programs, including graduate-level health programs.

This program can be completed in a three- or four-year plan of study, depending upon prior allied healthcare program completion.
Delivery Method
Health Professions core courses are offered online; however, general electives and other core courses may or may not be available in an online format. In addition, students will complete face-to-face practicum experiences with healthcare agencies in their state of residency.
Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
Prospective Students must:
- Submission of a completed application to William Carey University
- Must have a minimum grade of C in all transfer courses
- Submit the completed and notarized criminal background check affidavit
