Mission Statement
The Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) was established to promote and increase primary care residency programs in Mississippi and the Gulf South. The Office of GME is available to provide assistance to developing and existing residency programs in the region through the provision of faculty development, didactic lecture presentations, continuing medical education (CME), and support for research and other scholarly activities. The Office of GME also strives to promote osteopathic principles and practice at the graduate medical education level through a commitment to helping ACGME-accredited residency programs achieve osteopathic recognition.
