The Master of Education in Physical Education prepares educators to inspire and engage students through movement and lifelong wellness. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of teaching strategies, methods, and materials, equipping graduates with the skills to plan, adapt, and implement effective physical education programs. With a strong foundation in instruction and evaluation, graduates are ready to create dynamic learning experiences that promote health and physical literacy.

Hours

The program is 30 hours and may be completed in a minimum of 12-15 months.


Delivery Method

Classes are delivered in a fully online format that is perfect for the working student who wants to take their education to the next level. A cohort delivery of this program is available for schools or groups that wish to move through the program together. This delivery method allows students to develop relationships that support and enhance the learning process. Students may begin the program any term. Classes are designed to be flexible, and require no synchronous meetings.


Program Requirements

*Note: This degree WILL NOT lead to a Mississippi Educator License; however it is recognized by the MS Department of Education for Class AA Master's degree level license for individuals who currently hold an educator license.
