The Master of Education in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders equips educators with the skills to support students facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Through specialized training, teachers learn to conduct functional assessments, develop effective intervention plans, and implement evidence-based strategies in both educational and clinical settings. Graduates with a Mild/Moderate Disabilities endorsement will also earn the Emotional & Behavioral Disorders (206) endorsement, further broadening their qualifications and enhancing their ability to make a meaningful impact in the the field.

Hours

This program is 30 hours and may be completed in approximately 12-15 months. Students progress in this program in cohorts that begin each fall term. 


Delivery Method

Classes are fully online and are designed to be flexible and require no synchronous meetings. This program is ideal for full-time working professionals. William Carey uses Canvas as the learning management system for online coursework. Students will have the opportunity to build a portfolio of materials to use in day-to-day instruction.
