Protocol Review Schedule and Guidelines

Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, IRB will only meet virtually as needed during the 2020-2021 year.  

Guidelines

• Fewer than 5% of protocols require Full Board Review. Contact the IRB Chair (601-318-6778, or irb@wmcarey.edu) to determine if your study might require Full Board Review.

• Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, IRB will only meet virtually as needed during the 2020-2021 year.  Therefore, all protocols, even those requiring full-board review, should be emailed directly to irb@wmcarey.edu. 

For Full Board Review protocols, IRB staff may conduct a preliminary review and request some protocol clarification(s) and/or modifications. Modifications must be completed and resubmitted to the IRB within 72 hours of receiving the request.
