This year William Carey University will hold its 10th Annual Honor Band Clinic March 3-5, 2022! William Carey is proud to sponsor this event for your strongest musicians and students. We are excited to return to our normal two-band format this year allowing even more students to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. This year we are excited to have Mr. Joel Henson as our Red Band clinician. Mr. Henson currently serves as Associate Director of Bands at Pelham High School in Pelham, AL. He is also currently President of the Alabama Bandmaster's Association. Mr. Henson has enjoyed a very successful teaching career marked by very fine bands that have excelled in all areas of performance.
Student Recommendation Procedures
Directors will nominate students using the recommendation form they received in the mail. If necessary, this form may be downloaded using the link below.
Directors are asked to please mail all recommendation forms in a single envelope postmarked by December 2nd, 2021. Directors will be notified of selected students in early December. When you receive the results, we will provide additional detailed information and instructions for confirmation/registration. The confirmation/registration form and non-refundable honor band fee of $65 must be postmarked by January 14, 2022. Additionally, all honor band participants must submit the Hold Harmless Agreement (provided below along with the confirmation form for those selected).
