The application is available in the Student Indigo portal. The student portal will remain open for HEERF II applications until March 11, 2021.
The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II) establishes and provides funds that allow William Carey University to provide emergency grants to students who have an exceptional need. Funds are available to help students who have experienced financial challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and may be used for any component of a student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.
At this time, the following students are not eligible to apply: High School Dual Enrollment, International Students, Youth Challenge, or Step Ahead.
Qualifications for eligibility include but are not limited to:
- Enrolled at William Carey for Spring 2021 trimester
- Students enrolled in completely online programs are eligible
If approved funds will be distributed through the University’s normal student refund process. All HEERF II payments will be processed through BankMobile. Visit www.refundselection.com to set up or review your disbursement options. We anticipate that if approved payments will be disbursed mid-April.
Please be advised that the application deadline is March 11.
