The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) is authorized by the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and allows William Carey University to provide emergency grants to students who have an exceptional need. Funds are available to help students who have experienced financial challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and may be used for any component of a student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.
At this time, the following students are not eligible to apply: High School Dual Enrollment, Youth Challenge, or Step Ahead.
Students enrolled in completely online programs are eligible and international students are eligible.
Students enrolled during Fall 2021, Winter 2021, or Spring 2022 are eligible to apply.
If approved funds will be distributed through the University’s normal student refund process. All HEERF III payments will be processed through BankMobile. Visit www.refundselection.com to set up or review your disbursement options. We anticipate that if approved payments will be disbursed in early October.
Please be advised that the application deadline is March 25, 2022.
