Meal Plans
All residents are required to have a meal plan. Exceptions are made with appropriate medical documentation and approval from the Housing Director.
- 5 meals/week: $800 per term
(Penton Apartments only) - 12 meals/week: $1,970 per term
- 14 meals/week: $2,030 per term
- 20 meals/week: $2,220 per term
Welcome to Carey Diner
Carey Diner is a 50’s-inspired dining experience located in the heart of campus on the 2 nd floor of the King Student Center. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to stop by, enjoy great food, and spend time together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Menu Highlights
The diner features a classic diner-inspired menu with quality, customizable options including sandwiches, pizzas, hamburgers, chicken tenders, and milkshakes. Come in, relax, and enjoy true southern hospitality.
Dining Dollars
Dining Dollars may be purchased through the THDSS Housing Portal under the Meal Plan & Dining Dollars tab. Students may use federal or state financial aid to purchase Dining Dollars only if that aid results in a credit balance.
Institutional aid, such as scholarships or tuition waivers, cannot be used for Dining Dollars. Students who are unsure what type of aid they receive should contact finaid@wmcarey.edu before making a voluntary purchase.
After purchasing Dining Dollars, please allow 24 hours before use. Once refunds are processed during week 3 of the term, financial aid can no longer be used to purchase additional Dining Dollars.
Any Dining Dollars added after refunds are processed, or after a balance is paid in full, must be paid before registering for a future term.
