The Academic Affairs Office (AAO) oversees all academic programs, under the oversight of the Provost and Executive Vice President and in coordination with the University’s various academic units. The AAO coordinates curriculum, including approval of new programs and changes to the curriculum; oversees faculty hiring, evaluation, and promotion; and supports student success through the administration of academic policies.
The VPAA serves the university as the accreditation liaison with the Southern Association for Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
