WCU Nursing Professors to Present at Conferences

Hattiesburg, Miss., March 11, 2014 - William Carey University’s nursing professors Felicia Browning and Karen Sicard will both be presenting posters at nursing conferences in April.

Browning, assistant professor of nursing and director of continuing education, will present at the Conference of the Transcultural Nursing Society (TCNS) in Mobile, Ala., on April 4. This is the first conference held by the Alabama-Mississippi chapter of TCNS, and the theme is “Transcultural Caring: Transcending Differences Embracing Commonalities.”

Sicard, associate dean of nursing, will present at the ATI National Nurse Education Summit in Orlando, Fla., April 13-16. Sicard’s topic is “Test of Essential Academic Skills as a Predictor of Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program Completion.”
