WCU Hosts Pine Belt College Fair

Hattiesburg, Miss., November 12, 2012 - William Carey University hosted the Pine Belt College Fair November 7 in the Student Conference Center on the Hattiesburg campus.

More than 30 college, university and military representatives from five states, along with representatives from the Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid, were available to discuss admission requirements, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities with juniors and seniors from 18 high schools. Students from Collins High School, Columbia Academy, Forrest County Agricultural High School, Lamar Christian High School, Laurel Christian High School, Lumberton High School, Mount Olive High School, North Forrest High School, Perry Central High School, Petal High School, Prentiss Christian High School, Presbyterian Christian High School, Purvis High School, Sacred Heart, Seminary High School, Sumrall High School, Wayne Academy, and Youth Challenge Academy. Prospective students were also informed about campus visit and early registration dates.
