Dr. Ben Waddle named Professor Emeritus
During an opening assembly Aug. 20 for faculty and staff, William Carey University President Dr. Tommy King announced that the board of trustees had passed a unanimous resolution to honor Dr. Ben Waddle with the title of Professor Emeritus of Physical Education.
Dr. Waddle is retiring after 52 years of distinguished service to WCU. In total, he served the field of education for 70 years, including time as a teacher and administrator in K-12 schools and higher education.
