WCU honors 45 years of service

The highlight of William Carey University’s general assembly before the start of the new academic year was the awarding of a 45-year service pin to Earline Herrin, administrative assistant in our School of Education. Herrin received a standing ovation from her colleagues gathered at Thomas Fine Arts Center.
Forty-five faculty and staff members were honored during the ceremony for five years of service or more:
- Five years: Sheila Brown, Eric Burt, LaDonna Davidson, Mallorie Davis, Michael DeLorenze, Hugh Donohoe, Ed Ford, Karen Golson, Melony Hanson, Joe Hartfield, Blake Hegstrom, Wansa Jackson, Angela Jupiter-McCon, Bridgette Lee, Makayla Merritt, Jeremy Morgan, Belinda Newman, Philip Pennington, Willie Pierce, Barry Prior, Donna Smith, Liz Smith-Trigg, Richard Strebeck, Bridget Vanover
