William Carey University and the Area Development Partnership hosted the annual Small Business Leadership Award luncheon on May 2 at Southern Oaks House and Gardens. This year’s recipient was CR Properties and founders/owners Rob and Craig Tatum. Sam Britton, representative for the southern district of the Mississippi Public Service Commission, was the keynote speaker.
Three WCU students received scholarships during the event. In the photo, Dean Pace, WCU annual fund director, presents the Richard "Pepper" Jones Endowed Scholarship to business administration major Misty Trosclair of Hattiesburg.
Sarah Clark, a cross cultural business management major from Hattiesburg, and Kevin Craft, a business administration major from Hattiesburg, also received scholarships.
