Carey offers free ACT Camp
William Carey University is offering a free ACT Camp for high school students with a desire to attend college. The camp focuses on helping motivated students raise their ACT scores for college entry.
The dates for the camps are:
- Tuesday, May 29 through Friday, June 1 at the Tradition campus in Biloxi
- Monday, June 4 through Thursday, June 7 at the Hattiesburg campus
Each camp will provide test-taking strategy sessions, small group instruction, study materials, and snacks. Students also will receive college scholarship information and professional education information.
To qualify students must be sophomores or juniors during the 2017-2018 school year. The camp is also open to high school students who failed to receive their high school diploma due to a subject area deficiency. Those students must be within two years of their original graduation date and should demonstrate they are serious about improving their scores to receive their diploma.
