WCU Students to Present at Mississippi Academy of Sciences Annual Meeting
Hattiesburg, Miss., February 7, 2014 - William Carey University chemistry students have been invited to present a poster on their abstract, "A Comparison of the Bradford Assay with the Bicinchoninic Acid Assay for Measuring Protein in Soil Extracts," at the Mississippi Academy of Science 78th Annual Meeting that will be held at the Hattiesburg Lake Terrace Convention Center March 6-7. Dr. Michael McNatt, assistant professor of chemistry and physics, direct the student chemical research. The annual meeting allows students and faculty members from across the state to present addresses, symposia, workshops, scientific papers, and exhibits of interest to the Academy.
The students participating in the research and presentation are Vanessa Arnold of Ocean Springs; Ethan Burch of Richton; Sijin Cho of Busan, South Korea; Aaron Crowley of Biloxi; and Kyle Powell of Hattiesburg; Nathan Price of Richton, and Ashten Rea of Petal.
