Physician gives WCU Christian Leadership Lecture
Hattiesburg, Miss., March 6, 2013 - Dr. Brian Remley, a physician at McComb OB-GYN Associates, served as guest speaker for William Carey University's Christian Leadership Lecture on Wednesday, March 6, in Smith Auditorium. A question and answer session followed the lecture in the Lucile Parker Gallery for students interested in health care careers.
Dr. Remley has served as Chief of Staff at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, Chairman of the Perinatal Committee, Chairman of Deacons at First Baptist Church McComb, Chairman of the Education Commission of the Mississippi Baptist Convention, and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Parklane Academy in McComb. He has been married to Angela Tullos Remley, a 1988 William Carey graduate, for 24 years and they have four children; Mary Linda,18, Spencer, 17, Natalie, 13, and Brice, 9.
Between little league baseball, basketball, football and soccer Dr. Remley has coached over 60 teams. He is an avid hunter and outdoorsman, his most recent conquest being alligator hunting, and he enjoys spending time outdoors alone with the Lord.
