The Importance of Being Earnest
William Carey University Theatre will present the Oscar Wilde comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest, October 5 – 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. in the Joe & Virginia Tatum Theatre.
Set in 1895 in England, Wilde’s satire focuses on the themes of marriage, class, and social expectations.
The box office opens Monday, October 2 and is open daily from 1 until 4 p.m. and one hour before each performance. Tickets are free to WCU students, $5 for students at any school/university, $8 for senior citizens and military, and $10 general admission. Call 601-318-6218 to make reservations.
