AI, Technology, and the Christian Worldview with Dr. Jacob Shatzer
On Tuesday, April 4th, the Cooper School and the Theatre and Communication Department will be hosting a presentation titled, "Technolgy and the Christian Worldview". Dr. Jacob Shatzer, Professor of theology and ethics at Union University, will discuss his reserach and expertise much of which deals with figures who believe technology will eventually bring about the eradication of death and suffering - the Transhumanist Movement.
Throughout his presentation, he will speak on how Christians living in a digital age much wisely consider imminent societal and moral challenges especially in relation to artificial intelligence.
