Mississippi Guitar Festival
Share
The Mississippi Guitar Festival will be March 18,19. All the guitar programs from the state come together to put on this event and it is being hosted at WCU this year. Guitarists from all around the region will gather to compete for cash prizes in their respective levels: pre-college, freshman/sophomore, young artist, and jazz. We also have a marvelous guest artist, virtuoso, Matt Palmer. He will give a Masterclass and recital. There will also be a faculty recital on Monday night and a jazz jam at Tbones! Anyone who loves the guitar, whether student, amateur, or professional will have a great time.
Registration is open to anyone and is $40 for the entire event. You get into the competition and all events. The two nighttime concerts are free and open to the public.
