Gordon Campbell Lecture: The Story of the KJV

Professor Gordon Campbell is an eminent, authoritative voice on the history of the English Bible with specialization on the King James Version's origin and influence. Having written and given over seventy lectures on the King James Version in diverse international settings, Dr. Campbell is the author of Bible: The Story of the King James Version, an Oxford University Press 2010 publication on the 400th anniversary of the King James Version. In addition, he has edited the 1611 edition of the King James Version, which the British government distributed to all primary and secondary schools in England.

Dr. Campbell will be giving a lecture on October 11, 2018, at 2 p.m., on the Hattiesburg campus of William Carey University.  This event, free and open to the public, will be held in Fail-Asbury Hall Auditorium.
