Josie Laird

Bio

Josie D Laird is the Administrative Assistant to Music & Student Engagement at William Carey University. She supports the daily operations of the music department, assists with recruiting efforts, and enjoys helping students feel welcomed and informed as they explore their musical paths.

Josie is currently completing her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at William Carey. In addition to her administrative work, she teaches voice lessons through the Carey Music Academy and is passionate about helping students build confidence and grow as singers. She has also been active in several university ensembles and has gained experience both on stage and behind the scenes as a performer and stage manager. Josie studies voice under Dr. Susan Ruggiero.

After graduation, she plans to continue serving in administrative roles while teaching voice and furthering her career in music education and leadership.
