Jessica Bryan

Bio

Jessica Bryan is Assistant Professor of Music at William Carey University where she teaches in the areas of voice and music theory. Mrs. Bryan holds a Master of Music degree in vocal performance and Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Southeastern Louisiana University. As a private music instructor of twenty years, Mrs. Bryan has had the wonderful opportunity to teach music to all ages, from preschoolers to senior citizens, at Southeastern Louisiana University, Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts, DJB Music Studio, and William Carey University. On the stage, some of Mrs. Bryan’s favorite past roles include Suor Angelica in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Miss Titmouse in Penhorwood's Too Many Sopranos, and Maria in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. Mrs. Bryan enjoys performing with her guitarist husband, David Bryan, with whom she collaborates in classical recitals, jazz gigs, and church worship leadership. Jessica and David enjoy living in Hattiesburg with their son, Joseph.
