Cameron Jenkins

Bio

Dr. Cameron Whitworth Jenkins is a follower of Jesus Christ. He is known for his work as an interactive keynote speaker, leadership consultant, professional development coach, and community leader. From small rural programs to The Midwest International Clinic, he has inspired leaders from around the globe to prioritize joy.



Before entering the field of music education, Dr. Jenkins completed his undergraduate degree with a 4.0 GPA, within four years, and debt-free from Alcorn State University. He holds the Master of Music Education from The University of Mississippi, and the Doctor of Art in Music from the Winters School of Music at William Carey University.



In January 2024, Dr. Jenkins was appointed to the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Advisory Board. With more than 57,000 members teaching millions of students, NAfME advances the music education profession and promotes lifelong experiences in music. As a board member, his responsibilities are to identify, research, and report best practices for recruiting and retaining music educators.



Dr. Jenkins is the author of Joy Driven and he serves as the Founder and CEO of Full Potential Leadership, an international communications platform for coaching innovative leaders to maximize their strengths, equip their teams, and reach their full potential.

Dr. Jenkins is a Coca-Cola Scholar, a Life-Member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc., a Conn-Selmer Educational Clinician, and the Lead Pastor of Opportunity Church in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Dr. Jenkins and his wife, Lu Jenkins, have two toddlers, Cali Rae and Cason.
