Grant Guthrie

Grant, a William Carey University alumnus, completed his Master of Arts in English and Religion in 1996 and an MBA in 2004. He began his career at Carey in 2001, starting in Student Accounts. Over the next few years, he moved to the Advancement Office, where he worked for five years.

In 2006, Grant took on the role of Budget Director and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2010. His responsibilities include overseeing the university's financial management and strategy.

Grant holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Institute of Management Accountants and an advanced non-profit management certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. These qualifications highlight his expertise in financial management and non-profit administration.
