Alissa received a Bachelor of Science in Business and was very involved in student activities while she was a student. She was a WCU Cheerleader, a member of Pi Omega Social Club, Alpha Chi, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Beta Lambda, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Brandon received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Counseling. As a student, he was a member of Sigma Psi Nu, Chi Beta Phi and Alpha Chi Honor Society. He served as a representative for the Student Government Association, as a member of the ministry team for the Baptist Student Union, and as a mentor to fellow WCU students.

Kristina is a 2009 graduate of William Carey University. She received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Social Science and a minor in Recreation. While at Carey, Kristina was a member of the Diamond Girls, yearbook staff, and involved in various intramural sports.

"I chose Carey because of the family atmosphere. It is a great community where the faculty and staff know your name, both in and out of the classroom. Also, it’s home away from home but still close to my hometown. The knowledge I gained while at Carey prepared me for after college, and I’m proud to call William Carey my home."

Erin Austin received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from William Carey in May of 2016. While at Carey, she worked as a work-study in the Business Office. She served as a Graduate Assistant in Admissions before becoming a full-time employee.

"There is so much that Carey has taught me. Having grown up overseas, this was a ‘safe’ place for me to immerse in culture and spread my wings to figure out who I am. I am honored to be a part of Carey’s working family."

Kelsie Smith is a 2016 graduate of William Carey University. She received a Bachelor of General Studies degree with Concentrations in Chemistry and Music. She was a founding member of the Spirit of Carey marching band, Concert and Symphonic Bands, and Carey Company, WCU’s show choir. In addition, she worked in the Common Grounds coffee shop as a work study, and spent a summer on the mission field in Red Lodge, Montana.

“When I first stepped onto the campus of William Carey University, I knew I had found a home. I have met some of my very best friends on this campus, and the faculty and staff have helped me grow as a person, encouraged me in my walk with Christ, and pushed me to attempt things that I never thought I would. My prayer and desire is to help new students find their place in this amazing place known as the Carey Family.”

Madison graduated from Carey in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and as a student, she was very involved in a variety of student activities. She was Miss William Carey University 2016, a Carey Scholar, an officer of Pi Omega Sorority, a member of Student Government Association, Alpha Chi National Honor Society, Pre-SOMA Club, and highly involved with intramural sports. She was also a work study in admissions department, biology department, and WCU College of Medicine.

“It did not take much for me to realize that William Carey University was the place for me as a student, and now as an employee here, I still am confident that this is my place. I have received an incredible amount of opportunities because of this great institution, and I am excited to share those same opportunities with other prospective students. “Deanna received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014 with minors in English and Gerontology. She is the recipient of two Kennedy Center Achievement Awards in 2014 and 2015 for Excellence in Design for adapted children’s plays. Deanna also won first place in the William Faulkner Writing Contest in 2016 for short plays.“
