Dr. Mary Lee Rodgers is the Mississippi Teacher Residency Coordinator for William Carey University. She began her tenure as an adjunct instructor for the William Carey University School of Education in 2018. Her service in the field of education began in 1988. Since then, she has worked with students in Okinawa, Japan, Florida, and south Mississippi as an English and social studies teacher, lead teacher, and assistant principal. Dr. Rodgers is a graduate of William Carey University and is a faculty member in the William Carey School of Education, where she has taught doctoral research, residency II, and social studies methods. She has been married to Bob Rodgers for 36 years, and they have two children and two grandchildren. She is an active St. Paul United Methodist Church member and has served as a Bible school coordinator, bell choir member, Sunday school teacher, and volunteers at the Lord is My Help.
