Dr. Jason Ross is a faculty member in the Department of Educational Leadership. Prior to coming to the University, Dr. Ross taught mathematics for Stone County Schools, Pearl River Community College, and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he also served as the School Chairperson for the School of Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, and IT. Jason was elected as an officer with the Mississippi Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Mississippi Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators. Married since 1996, his wife, Angelia, is an educator for Harrison County Schools, and they have three sons. Dr. Ross has served local churches as pianist for over 30 years, and currently works at First United Methodist Church of Long Beach.
