James Foley attended Our Lady of Holy Cross College, now called the University of Holy Cross, where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2009. James then went to Loyola University in New Orleans where he earned his Masters of Science of Nursing in Health Care Systems Management in 2013. James has been a Registered Nurse for over 11 years and has clinical practice in long term acute care, home health, hospice, medical surgical nursing, cardiac thoracic surgery, and palliative care. James has been a Nurse Educator since 2014 and is currently working on his PhD in Nursing Education and Administration at William Carey University, where he is expected to graduate August 2022. James is currently an Assistant Professor of Nursing at William Carey University and is the RN to BSN Program Coordinator as well as the Undergraduate Academic Director at William Carey University Baton Rouge. James is married to his wife Angela for over four years, and is expecting his second daughter in August. During his off time, James loves the Saints, going to concerts (pre-COVID), going to the movies, going to the beach, watching the Pelicans play, and hanging out with his family and friends.
