Dr. Barry Morris is an associate professor in education at William Carey University. He began his tenure as an assistant professor in the School of Education, Department of Curriculum and Instruction in 2005. During his service in the field of education, he has worked with elementary and middle school students in Tampa, Florida for twenty-five years and served as an educational missionary with his wife for two years in Bangkok, Thailand (1973-1975). As a faculty member in the William Carey University School of Education, he has worked as the director of accreditation, chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Dean of the School of Education, and faculty member in the department of Educational Leadership. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Collins, Mississippi, where he serves a children's teacher, children's church director, choir member, and mission teacher.
