This 28 mm 1892 medal celebrates the centennial of the Baptist Missionary Society and William Carey's Watchword, "Expect . . . Attempt."
The obverse side features an image of the Widow Wallis House, Kettering, England, the site of the 1792 founding of the Baptist Missionary Society, and the text reads (clockwise) "Go Ye . . . 1792 . . Kettering . . . 1892"
The reverse side features a centered Bible with "Expect . . . Attempt" on the Bible's obverse page, "Expect . . . Attempt" surrounding the Bible, and the name "Wm. Carey" under the Bible.
