Carey Honor Band

This year William Carey University will hold its sixth annual Honor Band Clinic March 1-3, 2018! William Carey is proud to sponsor this event for your strongest musicians and students. The conductor for the 2018 Honor Band is Artie Adams. Mr. Adams was the band director at South Jones High School, in Ellisville, Mississippi, for over 20 years. Under his direction, the South Jones band program became one of the premiere programs in the state. He is a tremendous musician and a man of very high moral character and we are blessed to have him this year as the conductor of the Red Band for the 2018 Carey Honor Band Clinic. The three-day honor band will be filled with great concerts and pleasant surprises. Students make certain that your director nominates you this year…you don’t want to miss it! I pray the event has a great impact on your life as a musician and as a young person.
