International Application

Thanks for considering William Carey University for your higher education! WCU has more than 300 international students from all over the world!

The international application process is outlined below to guide you. We hope you will apply and join us at WCU!

Know the Process & Gather Information

To be considered for admission, all international student applicants must submit an application and also provide the following documents:

  • Submit a copy of valid passport
  • Submit official ACT or SAT scores, if seeking an academic scholarship
  • Submit official TOEFL, IELTS, or DET scores as required
  • Submit official and final transcripts from each institution previously attended, with official English translations included (an official transcript is one that has been transmitted directly from the institution to William Carey University), and/or a credential evaluation from a WCU approved evaluator, if required
  • Submit proof of measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) immunizations (must have had two MMR vaccinations in your lifetime). Additional immunizations may be required based upon the degree program selected
  • Submit completed Affidavit of Financial Support and supporting financial documentation

Submit Necessary Documentation

Once your application is submitted, your application will be reviewed and a checklist of documents assigned to you. You can upload the documents to complete your checklist items.

Await Admission Decision

This can be the most difficult part of the journey for many. Staff members will work as quickly as possible to process your application, but each student's information and documents must be carefully reviewed for accuracy.
