  • Eligibility for the discounted tuition rate requires a copy of a DD Form 214, NGB Form 22, or Military Statement of Service. Discounted tuition rate offered for military service members and their eligible dependents: $265 per credit hour for undergrad & master level courses, with the exception of the Master of Biomedical Science and Master of Occupational Therapy courses.
  • VA Education Benefits, Federal Tuition Assistance, and Credentialing Assistance are accepted.
  • Coverage is available for books, supplies, and any materials required for training courses and/or exams through Credentialing Assistance.
  • Additional financial support is available for members of the Mississippi National Guard.

William Carey University offers a discounted tuition rate for all members of the United States Armed Forces, veterans, and their eligible dependents. To qualify for this program, William Carey is offering, the following criteria must be met:

  1. United States Armed Forces member, veteran, or eligible dependent.
  2. Full or part-time student.
  3. Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with the exception of the Master of Biomedical Science and the Master of Occupational Therapy programs.
  4. 2.50 minimum cumulative Grade Point Average.
  5. In-person or online courses.
  6. Eligibility for military benefits through the Veterans Administration or other sources does not impact eligibility for this discount.
  7. The military discount reduces your tuition rate by at least 45%. Any internal scholarships you may have been awarded will be reduced by the same percentage.

This discount is automatically applied if the student uses Veterans Administration benefits; however, it is NOT associated with the Veterans Administration. This is a discount provided by William Carey University. The Military Tuition Discount will only reduce the tuition per hour rate. All other fees will remain the same.
