Student Activities
Welcome to the William Carey University Student Activities Homepage!
As a WCU student, there are many opportunities to get involved on campus. Being involved on campus will enhance your communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. These are skills that you carry on with you well past your college years.
The Office of Student Activities at William Carey University strives to present you with exactly what you are looking for with over 32 clubs and organizations, 10 honor societies, numerous community services ministries and 22 intramural sports for men and women.
The Student Activities department provides several resources for you to use; the student activities calendar is dispersed at the beginning of every school year and outlines all the student events on the Hattiesburg campus; the student activities brochure lists and describes all the clubs, organizations and honor societies; the Student Activities Facebook page is a good way to stay updated with all the activities going on campus.
Take advantage of all the things William Carey has to offer you. Take a look around, get involved and find your place!
How do I Learn more?
The Student Activities department is located in the Student Center, room 103. For any questions about how to get involved, starting a new organization, community service, Greek life, WCU Cheerleading, the Student Government Association, or any other organization on campus, feel free to stop by or give Emily Sheckells, Director of Student Activities, a call at (601) 318-6444 or email esheckells@wmcarey.edu
