WCU Women's Basketball Team to Participate in SSAC West Division Tournament

Head Coach Tracy English will lead the William Carey University women’s basketball team to the 2012 Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) West Division Tournament at The Forum in Rome, Ga., on Wednesday, February 29, as they play Southern Wesleyan University for their first game of the tournament. The Lady Crusaders went 13-13 in the regular season and 9-9 in SSAC post-season games. WCU defeated Southern Wesleyan 79-59 in December. Members of the women’s basketball team are Haleigh Arcement of Kiln; Anna Ard of Louisville; TeAnna Carter of Waynesboro; Chelsea Combest of Baker, Fla.; Erin Holifield of Hattiesburg; Jasmine McClinton of Colins; Erica Moore of Grove Hill, Ala.; Megan Reynolds of Mobile, Ala.; Ashton Scarbourgh of Columbia; Ciera Sibley of Denham Springs, La.; Tisa Smith of Biloxi; Crystal Tucker of Laurel; and Kendria Young of Baker, Fla.
