WCU Hosts Career Fair

Hattiesburg, Miss., April 9, 2013 - William Carey University hosted a Career Fair for Carey students on Monday, April 8, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Student Conference Center. The 25 companies and agencies recruiting included Bancorp South, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi, Citizens National Bank, Forrest General Hospital, General Dynamics Information Technology, Hattiesburg Clinic, Hattiesburg Public School District, Health Help Mississippi, Marshall Durbin, MDE/Teacher Center, Mississippi Baptist Convention, Mississippi Children Home Service, the Navy, New York Life Insurance Company, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resource, Prudential Insurance Company of America, Regions Bank, Rodan and Fields Dermatology, Sanderson Farms, South Mississippi State Hospital, Target, Tower Loan of Mississippi, LLC, , The University of Southern Mississippi Army ROTC, Waffle House, and Wesley Medical Center.

The event gave WCU students, as well as alumni, the opportunity to discover career opportunities and internships and network with local professionals. The career fair was sponsored by Student Support Services and Career Services.
