WCU Accepting Applications for Master of Education Degree
William Carey University is now accepting applications for its Master of Education in Education Leadership Program (M.Ed.) for Fall Trimester 2012. The deadline for receiving applications is July 15, and interviews begin in March.
This 36-hour degree program is designed for educators who wish to earn licensure for principalship (K-12), and will prepare students to become effective instructional leaders and school managers in elementary, middle, and secondary education settings. The vision of the Educational Leadership program is to equip candidates to become change agents for positively impacting students’ lives socially, emotionally, and academically.
With its flexible course offerings, the educational leadership degree is convenient for full-time working professionals, as well as other students. Courses will be offered in evenings, Saturdays, and online, and may be completed in less than two years with continuous part-time enrollment. There will be two cohorts of students each accepted into the program: one group at the Tradition campus in Biloxi, and one at the Hattiesburg campus. This program is approved by the Mississippi Department of Education, and is for degree-seeking students only.
