WCU To Host Event For New Students
The William Carey University office of admissions will host Super Saturday for new students, both incoming freshmen and transfers, on July 14, from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Super Saturday gives students and their parents a glimpse into university life and offers information on admissions, financial aid, housing and student life.
After sign-in and a welcoming session in Smith Auditorium at 8 a.m., students can sign up for classes with their department advisors from 9:45 - 11:30 a.m. From 11 - 11:30 a.m., students will have an opportunity to sit in on various classes so that they can get a feel for the WCU classroom experience.
Students will also have a chance to meet with persons in admissions, financial aid, and housing and participate in campus tours from 12:15 - 2 p.m. Lunch will be served in Wilkes Dining Hall from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
"The Office of Admissions looks forward to another great event," said Brandon Dillon, assistant director of admission and student programs.
