William Carey University Plans Registration for Summer and Fall
Hattiesburg, MS, May 23, 2008 - Late registration for the summer term is Tuesday, May 27 and general registration for fall is Friday, August 22 and Monday, August 25 on the Hattiesburg, Gulfport and New Orleans campuses of William Carey University.
Incoming freshmen and transfer students interested in summer and/or fall classes can apply for admissions by visiting the admission office on each campus, by calling 800-962-5991, or visiting the website at
www.wmcarey.edu. Each student will need to complete an admissions application, send in a $30 application fee, provide proof of measles, mumps and rubella immunizations and provide all official high school and college/university transcripts.
Financial aid packets, FAFSA, are available in the admissions office. Ninety percent of students who attend Carey receive scholarships from the university. Available scholarships include athletic, theatre, speech and debate, music, church related vocations, newspaper and yearbook.
There are more than 30 areas of study in the Noonkester School of Arts and Letters,; the School of Business; the School of Education; the School of Natural and Behavioral Science; the Owen and Elizabeth Cooper School of Missions and Biblical Studies; the Donald and Frances Winters School of Music; and the Joseph and Nancy Fail School of Nursing. Graduate degrees are also offered in teacher education, business, music education, nursing, and psychology.
