Offered for the convenience of working individuals, the program courses will be held on Saturdays and will allow students to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Management/Marketing.

The composite score reflects the overall relative financial health of institutions along a scale from negative 1.0 to positive 3.0.

Dr. Watkins is taking over the position from J.B. Potts of Mississippi College, who has edited the journal for seven years.

Kansas City, Mo. July 15, 2013 - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 898 programs have been named 2012-13 NAIA Scholar-Teams. William Carey University was well represented with six programs selected as a NAIA Scholar Team.
For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade-point average includes all varsity student-athletes listed on the Official NAIA Eligibility Certificate.

Hattiesburg, Miss., July 2, 2013 - Dr. Suzanne Carreker, a certified academic language therapist and a master instructor at Neuhaus Education Center (NEH) in Houston, Texas, spoke to students in William Carey University’s Master of Education in Dyslexia Therapy program on June 28 in Fairchild Hall. Dr. Carreker wrote Multisensory Teaching of Basic Language Skills, which is the primary curriculum used by the WCU students in the dyslexia program. The program is brand new, and the inaugural cohort of 24 students just finished their first two classes, taught by Dr.
Hattiesburg, Miss., June 24, 2013 - Paul Harbin, former coach for the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Blazers women’s soccer team, led a women’s residential soccer camp for girls ages 13-18 at William Carey University June 18-21. Harbin, along with a staff of soccer coaches, worked with approximately 145 girls throughout the week, challenging them to improve their skills and build confidence in themselves and their abilities.
