Hattiesburg, Miss., May 15, 2013 - Chad Newell, president of the Area Development Partnership, will speak at William Carey University’s graduate commencement ceremony on Friday, May 17, at 7 p.m. in Smith Auditorium on the Hattiesburg campus. Nearly 800 students will graduate from WCU in four ceremonies.
Hattiesburg, Miss., May 14, 2013 - William Carey University and the Tradition community announced their intent to create a Health Care Industry Zone centered around WCU’s Tradition campus on Highway 67 in Harrison County during a press conference at WCU on Monday, May 13. Tradition, a 4,800-acre master planned community, is located seven minutes north of Interstate 10 at the intersection of Highway 67, 605, and Tradition Parkway.
Hattiesburg, Miss., May 10, 2013 - For the fourth consecutive year William Carey University will have a record number of graduates. Over 800 students will receive degrees at Carey in one of four graduation ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students of the Hattiesburg and Tradition campuses May 17-18. Dr. Tommy King, president of WCU, will preside at the ceremonies.

This ceremony is for students receiving undergraduate degrees from the school of arts and letters, school of nursing and school of natural and behavioral sciences.
