William Carey University Psychology Professor Presents Cutting Edge Research
HATTIESBURG, Miss., May 09, 2008 - Dr. Susan Gibson, assistant professor of psychology, presented applied research at the 2008 Annual Conference of the California Association for Alcohol and Drug Educators in April. The panel presentation, entitled “Neurotransmission Restoration Therapy,” examines a promising treatment for individuals struggling with alcohol and substance addiction.
“Dr. Gibson’s work on this cutting edge research is very likely to generate additional presentations and journal publications,” said Dr. Frank G. Baugh, dean of graduate programs and dean of the School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences. “We congratulate Dr. Gibson for her significant contribution to the scientific treatment literature.”
