William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine Held White Coat Ceremony on August 21

Hattiesburg, MS, August 27, 2010 -  William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCU-COM) held a traditional White Coat Ceremony to celebrate the entrance of the inaugural class into medical school on Saturday, August 21 at 5 p.m. in Smith Auditorium in Hattiesburg.
 
Each student was ceremonially “cloaked” with their white coat and took the osteopathic oath of commitment in front of friends, family, WCU faculty and staff, and members of the community. A reception, open house and tours of the medical facilities followed the ceremony.
