Big Daddy Weave and Chris and Conrad to Present Concert at William Carey University

Hattiesburg, MS, March 5, 2010 - Fervent Records recording artist Big Daddy Weave hits the road this week for the “We Want the World to Hear” tour featuring guests artists Chris and Conrad.

Heading into their 11th year with all original members, Big Daddy Weave will visit over 20 cities across the South, Midwest and Southeast performing songs from their latest album “What Life Would Be Like” and other Big Daddy Weave favorites. They will perform Saturday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Smith Auditorium at William Carey University. The concert is part of WCU’s Homecoming 2010 celebration.

“We are really excited to be heading out on the ‘We Want the World to Hear’ tour with our good friends Chris and Conrad,” says lead singer, Mike Weaver.  “It’s not just the name of a tour or title of a song. We are excited to share hope with people who might be stressed out during this time of uncertainty in our world.  We want the world to hear the hope we have in Jesus.”

Big Daddy Weave hit the spotlight in 2002 when “One and Only” debuted in SoundScan’s Christian Top 5, the highest debut for a new artist that year. Garnering its first CHR No. 1 at radio with “Audience of One,” the band’s other chart-topping songs include “You’re Worthy Of My Praise” (What I Was Made For) and title cut, “Every Time I Breathe.”

Big Daddy Weave has additionally been featured on several special event albums such as “Dove Hits,” “WoW Hits,” “WoW Worship,” “WoW Christmas” and the “Absolute” series. For more information on Big Daddy Weave and the “We Want the World to Hear” tour, visit http://www.bigdaddyweave.com/.

Chris and Conrad exploded on the scene in 2009 with their debut Top 5 hit "Lead Me To The Cross".  Their new single "You're The One" is already a Top 20 hit and climbing fast.  For more information on Chris and Conrad, please visit http://www.chrisandconrad.com/.
