Sculptor Ben Watts to Exhibit at William Carey University
Hattiesburg, MS, September 16, 2009 - An opening reception for sculptor Ben Watts will be held Thursday, October 1 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Sarah Ellen Gillespie Museum where his work will be exhibited Oct. 1 through 30.
The exhibit will feature western themes, animals and historic figures. He has works installed throughout the state including a life size Coach Dobie Holden at Pearl River Community College, a golden eagle at the University of Southern Mississippi Ogletree Alumni House, a life size John Wesley at Millsaps College, and a piece for Bass Pro Shops.
