MESSAGE
Masters of Education with Concentration on Gifted
The Master of Education in Gifted Education is designed to provide educators with skills and knowledge in current research, learning theory, and best practices to meet the needs of gifted and talented youth. Students have opportunities to gain in-depth knowledge through coursework and practicum experiences about identifying and serving students for special programs and effective instructional practices to develop their gifts and talents. Instructors emphasize activities and experiences that differentiate instruction to meet the needs of this population. Strategies and instructional models are used in planning for differentiated instruction.
